Ahmed brings a fresh perspective to BCT as he is currently in his senior year of attaining his Bachelor of Science in Arts Management from Indiana University, with a focus in music. He has diverse performance arts experiences, ranging from jazz and concert bands as well as stage theatre and crew, appreciating the variety of shows the theater enjoys. Ahmed has lived in Bloomington for three years now with his two cats he has adopted since, and loves the local arts and cultures the town hosts.
Casey brings to the BCT years of experience on stage and behind the scenes. She spent her first 10 years in the arts as an actress. She later went on to earn a Master of Arts in Arts Administration and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University. Casey and her wife Jillian have called Bloomington home for over five years now along with their three pups and daughter Lorelai.
Kari has served as the Office Manager & Business Director at BCT Management, Inc. since 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management from Indiana University and has years of professional experience ranging from project and fiscal management to product development and meeting planning. Kari and her husband Jake live in the wooded hills of Brown County, love the arts, gardening and travel, and are dedicated dog parents.
Clayton has spent his entire adult life working on stage and brings that unique perspective to his work at the BCT. Clayton started his stage experience at the IU Musical Arts Center in 2014. He later worked for Markey’s Rental and Staging, traveling the country working with audiovisual technology for some of the world’s largest corporations. He is what many affectionately refer to as a “townie,” growing up just south of Bloomington. He loves music, hiking, traveling, and looks forward to many more fun years living in Bloomington to come.
A North Carolina native, Jordan has been involved with the Buskirk-Chumley Theater since moving to Bloomington in 2017. With an educational background in Social Work and Arts Administration, Jordan has been curious about the intersection of community, downtowns and quality of place, and the arts. As the Events Director, Jordan loves participating in creating space for people to come have fun, learn something new, or step back in time. Jordan loves getting to visit her sisters in the Blue Ridge Mountains, fall mornings with a comfy sweater, and good beer.
While working on his AS in Audio Technology degree from IU (Class of 2001), David began working for the local chapter of IATSE stagehands. Occasionally, those work calls lead him to the BCT. After graduating, he began working for a local sound company, became a Journeyman for IATSE, worked independently as an audio engineer, and has served as the BCT’s technical director since 2017. David enjoys visiting the numerous parks around southern Indiana, keeping his cats appeased, and riding his motorcycle on the twisty highways and byways of the area.
Lily has been inspired by the kindness and generosity of BCT’s supporters since she joined the team in March 2020. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and believes that philanthropy is a tool that allows anyone to have a positive impact on their community. Her passion for service extends to her free time which is typically spent volunteering for other local nonprofits or working on her fixer-upper in the Prospect Hill neighborhood which she enjoys with her husband Gerard and toddler Josey.
